I wrote awhile back that I have been thinking seriously of getting a good barbecue pit. In my recent road trip to Louisiana I have a chance to go see the Wrangler Old Country barbecue pit sold by Academy Sports and Outdoors store while passing through Texas.

Selfies are so hot these days in social media. Brunnhilde has gotten into the fray of who has the most selfies. Being an avid traveler she loves to collect selfies especially those serve as memento.

NOLA Style Grilled Oysters

I went grocery shopping yesterday. I bought some mussels as well as a dozen of Oregon oysters. Normally oysters from Asian seafood stores tend to be the no so good ones because the smaller ones are sold to the oyster bars. For $8 I came home with a dozen of relatively small one than usual.
