This post is really for my own documentation on how to service Brunnhilde's blind/screen. Starting last autumn, the insect screen of the big awning window begun to become lazy. It got worst quickly over time and eventually it would not retract. I have been very reluctant to tear into the roller blind/screen having read about other owner's terrible experience. Only one of my James Cook Freunde John recent service of his encouraged me to take the plunge.

in good shape - brunnhilde part 3
The painting project for Brunnhilde has finally getting off to a quick start. I have spent much time thinking through the process, the materials I would need, and most importantly decided amongst the alternatives, from the simplest and least cost and work, to the most complex, most costly, and with most work.
in good shape - brunnhilde part 2
Brunnhilde has been sitting idle for the winter months. I recently took her out for a bit of exercise, to make sure everything is shipshape. About 2 years ago after sitting around for months, she developed the limp home mode which turned out to be the oxygen sensor became defective.
