Up till now the hydronic system had been test-fired for basic operational checks. Next I installed the thermostat and the outdoor ambient sensor. The outdoor sensor is used by the boiler controller to regulate the boiler temperature as well as the exhaust gas temperature for the highest efficiency as a condensing boiler.

Once all the plumbings are done I proceeded to install a 4-plex with the dedicated 120Vac circuit. Installed also is a 24Vac HVAC transformer for used with the thermostat. Then I could begin to fill the system with glycol mixture and purge the hydronic system of air.

Only after the contracted workers left that I feel safe to put up a small audio system in the barn. Now there are enough major parts of the barn done it is time to procure a pair of speakers for use with my surplus Sony receiver. The receiver was decommissioned from my home theatre due to one bad rear channel. It is perfect for used in the barn as a hi fi system.

The much awaited last batch of parts arrived eight days from my online order. Everything I need to procured, not just this hydronic boiler, come mostly from the East Coast. Most things are more expensive in the West Coast.

While I laid the ground work for the hydronic heat system when designing the general layout of the barn. I didn't spend time researching which boiler to buy when I ever get to installing the above ground parts. These include the zoning, manifold, boiler, pump, piping and plumbing.
