I spent a bit of time doing more research today after running into some challenges. I made some phone calls and to my amazement, I made some big strifes.
It is late but I wanted to post some photos so please consider this as a teaser post.
driving to West Marine only to find out this original store in the city just moved and the store is huge; i was like a child in a toy store; keeping taps of what may be useful for current and future projects
Norcold was one of the first to offer 12Vdc fridge with the excellent Danfoss compressor; this one is $699; in some respect it is well built but with many short comings especially with rather small volumetric capacity given the weight, price, and exterior dimensions
same compressor as in my Truckfridge - Danfoss is now called Secop
these are what i am here for - i would not have expected that they carry every one except the 15-gallon one
these fuel tanks have a caps that looks to be well seal, and are way better than the junks that sold for home and garden, and automotive use; and the prices are surprisingly not more expensive; i might buy the yellow one; note there is no vent port
this is a new big store and they have so much in stock that is nice to be able to see and examine closely than just buying sight unseen

unbeknown to me they open a brand new store and closed the one that was off the beaten path; this store is huge and has much more merchandise in stock; i actually drove to the old store only to be greeted by a vacant premise
this tank is like it was custom made for my need
coming home i still struggled to made dinner; and then roasted a batch of coffee beans
I have done some different versions of conceptual design and am still weighting the pros and cons. Please stay tuned.
