in good shape, isolde - part 13
This resumes from a previous post in good shape, isolde - part 12. Riding on the success of the ventilation fan that I built for Brunnhilde, I went ahead with a similar design for Isolde. The difference is I chose a larger diameter fan to take advantage of the skylight opening. Larger fan means lower RPM, and hence quieter and more efficient operation.

in good shape, isolde - part 12
This resumes from a previous post in good shape, isolde - part 11. I have too much time on my hands so I decided to do the 12 - 24 hours clock hack on my bad LCD clock that I swapped out from Isolde's instrument cluster. I do this so the digital clock PCB is ready to replace the one on the good clock next time I have the instrument cluster out. This bad clock is bad because of the LCD display but the digital clock PCB is perfectly functional.

in good shape, isolde - part 11
This resumes from a previous post in good shape, isolde - part 10. We have been blessed with a few days of incredible spring weather this week. Today, I was just browsing Amazon for cheap electronic DIYer's module. I thought I would search for a thermometer that can be either adjust or programmed, like a thermostat but just for the on/off control of a 12Vdc fan that is extremely low current.

in good shape, isolde - part 10
This resumes from a previous post in good shape, isolde - part 9.
Isolde's digital clock on the instrument cluster begun to develop a gradual failure on the LCD display a few years after new. Over the years the tumor-like grew steadily increased until the clock display became unusable.

in good shape, isolde - part 9
This resumes from a previous post in good shape, isolde - part 8. As one of many items identified on the punch list resulted from the recent sea trial I today I spend a little time replacing the tired elastic band in Isolde's curtain at the sliding door windows.
