hydronic heat for the barn - part 16

Yesterday afternoon the strong cold front hit Pacific Northwest. I was erecting more T&G plywood as wall panels. When I anticipate the work will create dust I switch off the mini split heat pump to avoid dust getting onto the air filter and the heat exchanger in the IDU. The barn stay at comfortable temperature even hours without heat. I left 2 loops of the radiant heat on. The wind was so strong it rattle the roof panels. The lights flickered a number of times which typically is a precursor to blackout.

hydronic heat for the barn - part 15

One of the reasons I built the shelf adjacent to the boiler is to create a simple way to mount the eight gang switch bank assembly for the hydronic actuators. I was planning on simply mount the switch bank on the underside of the shelving.
