carver p4 furnace for isolde - part 1

This is the Carver P4 furnace installed in Isolde circa 1999. It has two BTU power levels, about 2.2 kW at full power, and 1.1 kW at half power. It is one of the best compact hot air furnace ever made, and is whisper quiet.

I wanted an installation that has the same quality of what Westfalia would have done. The bending radius of the air hoses for combustion and comfort air dictates the design of the installation. Of course safety is utmost design priority as it would be located under side the storage compartment of the bench seat, which also doubles as a twin bed.

the exhaust gas hose is double wall

the user control panel is a rheostat
