tokyo trip - 2001


Still more photos from old album. These were from a business trip to Tokyo in 2001, taken with a first generation digital camera. It was my first visit to Japan, a country which I would return many times.

we had great food at this izakaya washed down with a lot of beer
 this Daihatsu looked so much like the Lotus Elan
in a cellar bar i mistaken this wash basin as urinal bowl because of its shape and low mounting height; my colleagues would not stop tease me after

















 another mini cooper in a relatively quiet neighborhood
i lucked out with this japanese suite; all my colleagues had a western style room






 it would be my first time using a washing toilet
in the hotel garden there is this century old pagoda
