There are two bird nests that I know of in my garden. One is the robin on the plum tree, and the other is the common sparrow in a fern. I have been monitoring the progress of both. Both had 3 eggs.
the robins hatched about 2 weeks ago, and today they are very close to their first flight; i have seen them flapping the wings in the nest
this photo was taken only two days ago when they have less feathers
i just check the sparrow's nest and one baby has hatched! the chick is the size of an unshelled hazelnut
I still have yet to find a nest of the Anna's hummingbird. They must be very hard to find.
