The much needed 3/4" brass elbow finally arrived. I proceeded to install the 3/4" cold water line supplying the bay with the floor drain, and the outside water hydrant at the overflow parking area by the barn.
When I was short of this elbow while installing the temporary sink the manifold was missing the much needed support on the left hand side. It inevitably tilts to the left as the right side is supported by the stout 1" poly pipe.with the 3/4" line connected to the left side the manifold is nicely level
While it is now a 90 degree branch down into the slab it would be replaced with a tee down the road so a branch will feed upwards to the loft that is yet to be constructed.
I bought enough pex line for the barn as well as installing water and plumbing for the cabin; the cabin will go though a renovation with added amenities down the road
this temporary work area is now must tidier
the little school desk is the network central for the barn and the whole ranch down to the cabin via fiber optics and relayed up to the front gate 1/4 mile away from the barn
this is the 3/4" line that rises up in the bay with floor drain but I capped the end for now until the plywood wall panels are up to support a garden faucet
it is a small delight to enable this one crucial hydrant at this spot; this is my slowest flowing hydrant due to the 90' run with 3/4" pex line from inside the barn
I provisioned this hydrant for visiting guests to refill their water tank in their motorhome
it also a great spot to hose down my vehicle in the winter outdoors not worrying about the water turning into a sheet of ice as the shale fill under drains really well
little clay pot rice with shrimps, chinese sausage, chinese barbecue pork, mushrooms, and napa cabbage
